Save the Date next Tuesday, 9/10 to enroll for Fall enrichment classes via Homeroom, our online enrichment portal. If you already have a Homeroom account, all you have to do is login once the enrollment period opens to book classes.  If you do not have an account, you’ll only have to sign up once and your student(s) profile will be saved for future sessions. SAVE THE DATE! Enrollment for Fall Study Club classes will open next Tuesday, September 3rd at 9 AM. Enrollment will take place via Homeroom . The Fall session of Study Club starts on Monday, September 9, 2019 and runs through Thursday, December 19, 2019.  Students participating in Enrichment classes have the option of enrolling for the full 14 week session, or just the pre-enrichment (September 9-20, 2019) and/or post enrichment (December 16-19, 2019) weeks. Stefanie Kimbrel is the mom of a GHES Kindergartener and 2nd grader.  She offers a great to deal of time to our school through classroom projects and school-wide assistance.  She has logged an enormous amount of volunteer hours, and we are thankful to her for the amount of work she has given to our school.  Continue reading

Thank you, Dr. Cook! Dr. Adrianne Cook is mom to a 2nd grader and Kindergartner here at Genesee Hill, and is one of seven providers at West Seattle Natural Medicine. Congratulations to both Christine Kraynek and Julie Forcum – the co-chairs for the Fundraising committee and our Volunteers of the Month.  As the fundraising chairs, the team set out early in September finding creative and meaningful ways for our school to raise funds to meet the needs of our students staff and families.  Both of these incredibly committed volunteers have done so with such an incredibly considerate eye on inclusion,making sure many voices were heard
