Librarian News: Visit the Schmitz Park Glog

Schmitz Park library Glog. A Glog is an online media poster that enables kids of all grades to access popular educational websites and learning tools, in an interface suited to their liking.

Our new Glog can be accessed from any computer and enables students and parents to view Seattle Public Schools databases and other links to education sites.

To visit, click here, or visit the Schmitz Park website, click on library and then library glog.  Please contact Ms. Vannini, Schmitz Park Librarian, with questions.

Happy Glogging!

Winter Session After School Enrichment Registration Due!

Winter Registration for After School Enrichment is now open!  The Registration Form is attached and available here or in paper copy in the office. Registrations are due in the office Tuesday, December 17th by 3 p.m.

All registrations received by the due date will have equal chances at class spots.  After the due date, registrations are processed on a first come, first served, spots available basis. Winter Session is January 6- March 27.  There is only a week to register for classes, which is tight, but this way families will have confirmation for classes before the break.

Please check out our new Before/After School Enrichment page on the Schmitz Park website.  This page will have links to the registration forms, contact info, and a calendar specific to the after school class schedule. Questions email Fiona Preedy at schmitzparkenrichment@gmail.com.

Help Needed with Holiday Canned Food Drive

Donate Canned Goods Today

Our Canned Food Drive is off to a slow start. With your help we hope it will gain momentum this week & end in a crescendo on Monday, December 16th.

We want to help children develop an awareness of need, and how our generosity can make a difference to others. All donations are gratefully accepted in the bins by the front doors of the school.

Thank you in advance, from the Third Grade Cohort.
